HOW TO SEE A COUNSELOR

Counseling Offices
Counseling Offices are located throughout the campus. Each counselor works primarily with certain majors and is located in the building related to that major. Please check out our webpages for the information you need. If you have additional questions, please contact a counselor.

Your Counselor
As a student, you are assigned to a counselor based on the major you indicated on your application to Cypress College. If you indicate "General Studies" or "undecided" you are assigned to a counselor on a random basis. You may change your counselor anytime you wish simply by contacting the counseling office of the counselor you choose and telling them you want to make a change. They will ask you to fill out and sign a Counselor Change Form.

Counseling Center
Counselors are available Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm in the Counseling Center, which is located on the second floor of the Cypress College Complex, Room 215. Please call the Counseling Center for more information at (714) 484-7015.
