International Students Program

Cypress College welcomes applications for its International Students Program. Our college is authorized by the United States Department of Justice as an institution of higher learning for non-immigrant F-1 visa students. One of the goals of our program is to provide positive educational opportunities for students in an effort to improve the global community. Our staff offers assistance with academic advisement, registration into classes and orienting students to living in Southern California.

Cypress College is a 2-year community college that offers transfer programs to 4-year universities, associate degree programs and occupational certificate programs. For a complete listing of all majors and programs Cypress offers, see below under Forms for Download and Printing. Some of our popular majors include: culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, airline and travel careers, automotive technology, mortuary science, and computer science. While all of the majors mentioned above are available to F-1 visa students, applicants are not eligible for programs where applications of qualified US citizens exceed spaces available. To learn more about instructional programs, visit the Divisions page.

Students are eligible to participate in all campus activities and athletic programs. There is an active International Student Club that sponsors many activities and field trips.
