LIBRARY

The Library is located on the second floor of the LLRC.

Library Cards: A current student picture ID card is your library card. You must have your student ID card with you in order to check out materials or look at reserve/textbook materials. The textbook collection must be used in the library, but there are books, videos, DVD’s CD’s, audio-cassettes, pamphlets and paperback books available for check out.

Note: Remote access to the library catalog is available through the website. Remote access to the databases is available to currently enrolled Cypress College students with a user ID and password attainable at the Reference Desk.

Cypress College students have reciprocal borrowing privileges at Fullerton College, Golden West College, Orange Coast College, CSULB and CSUF. See a librarian for more information.

Community User cards are available for $12.00 per year. A California Driver’s License or Identification card is required.

Computer access: Computers are available for research purposes only. Electrical power, data ports and wireless connectivity for students with personal laptop computers is available.

Photocopiers, Database/Internet Printing: The cost to photocopy or print is 10 cents per page.

Group Study Rooms: Eight group study rooms are available. Reservations can be made at least 24 hours in advance at the circulation counter and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Dry-erase markers to use in the study rooms are available for check out from the circulation counter staff.
