How to File a Complaint

Individuals who believe that they are victims of discrimination or sexual harassment can file a formal complaint online, in person, or by mail.

Individuals may download, complete, and mail or deliver the form to the Equal Employment Opportunity/Campus Diversity Office.

Students, prospective students, employees and job applicants are protected from intimidation, coercion, interference, or discrimination for filing complaints or assisting in the investigation of a complaint under all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended
  • Age Discrimination in Employment Act, as amended
  • Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, 62 FR 66092, 2001 revised guidance.
  • Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 Vietnam-Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended
  • Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990
  • Civil Rights Act of 1991

Supervisors must take immediate steps to end situations of discrimination and sexual harassment when it is brought to their attention. Advice and assistance are available from the Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity Office.
