Chargers Suffer Season’s First Loss

Santa Barbara, Calif. – Cypress went into Wednesday’s game unbeaten and without a win after two straight ties to start the season. The Chargers met up with Santa Barbara on the road and were dealt a drubbing in an 8-0 loss. Cypress felt the pain early with a 4-0 halftime score. Freshman goalie James Tucker made his Cypress debut making four saves.
Cypress falls to 0-1-2 and return home to a friendlier field for their next match. Cypress will host Cuyamaca Friday at 4:00 pm.
