Cypress Calif. – After a rough road game earlier this week, Cypress was looking for an easier road at home Friday. Cuyamaca had different plans for the Chargers though as Cypress was dealt a 3-0 loss. Cypress had several opportunities to score but came just short unable to put one in. After a 0-0 halftime, the Cypress defense broke down in the 62nd minute as the Chargers allowed three quick Cuyamaca goals. Freshman keeper James Tucker made seven saves on the day.

The Chargers fall to 0-2-2 and have the weekend to recover before another home game Tuesday. Cypress will host Chaffey who is 5-2-1 coming off of a 4-0 win over Imperial Valley. The two meet up Tuesday at 4:00 pm at Cypress.
