Chargers Roll Over in Big Home Loss

Cypress gave up four second half goals.

Cypress Calif. – Cypress was hoping to break a two game scoreless streak Tuesday as they hosted Chaffey at home. The Chargers were unable to cash in as their defense repeatedly broke down for the 7-0 loss. Cypress had a few ripe opportunities but came up just short each time. Cypress gave up three goals in the first and four in the second. Freshman goalie James Tucker made five saves on the day.

Cypress falls to 0-3-2 and must lick their wounds quickly as they head back on the road Friday to face Mira Costa. Mira Costa is 2-1-1 and is coming off of a 5-2 win over Allan Hancock. The two meet up Friday at 4:00 pm at Mira Costa.
