Chargers Shut Out Again

Cypress, Calif. – Cypress broke the shutout streak last Friday putting up one goal after three straight shutout games. The Chargers got back to old habits again Tuesday battling through a competitive scoreless first half, only to give up four goals in the second to lose 4-0 to Moorpark. Freshman goalie Kayvon Mehranian put up seven saves on the day.

Cypress falls to 0-5-2 and has just a few days off to prepare for Victor Valley. The Rams are 1-7-1 and are on a three game losing streak. They are coming off of a 3-2 loss to Canyons. The two meet up Friday at Cypress at 4:00 pm.
